Bowler Profile

This month, the club would like to recognize Chantal Carter. She has been our kitchen manager for the past 10 years and never missed rising to the challenge of providing food and beverage to all our members and guests at all of our tournaments and special events.

Chantal ensures that you all have cold water and pop in the fridge for those hot summer days and hot coffee and tea on those cool spring and fall evenings.

Always happy, helpful, easy to talk to and a great skip too!. She is a very valued member of our club!   ( On the left)

Housekeeping

  1. Please feel free to change the garbage bag in the washroom or kitchen if you see that it is full as we do not have a cleaner. The garbage bags are in the large cupboard in the kitchen and the bins are by the Church Street gate. It is everyone’s club and we all need to do our part as many hands make light work.
  2. Please ensure that you have taken all your belongings when you are finished bowling and you have disposed of any used water bottles and cups in the garbage. All equipment you used including water bottles to wet your bowls should be put away. If the water bottle is almost empty, please fill it in the clubhouse before returning to the tray near the storage shed.
  3. If you come to the club to practice please ensure when you leave the clubhouse is locked and the gate lock is on and all digits tumbled.

Second Session of League Play

Second session begins July 19th  for Tuesday morning league and the week of July 25th for Monday and Wednesday evening leagues There is a blue sheet now on the black board in the clubhouse for any changes that need to be made to these leagues. If you are going to continue to bowl in the same league in second session then no action is required. However, if you wish to leave the league you must put your name on this form. Also, if you wish to add another league or switch your league to another then we also need to be told.  The form will be there until Wednesday night  July 13th as we need to make up new teams.
