Bowler Profile
This month, the club would like to recognize “power couple” Bob and Jeanne Christie. Bob an Jeanne are no strangers to the sport of lawn bowling having been members of SLBC since 1988 Prior to coming to Stouffville Jeanne served as President of the Willlowdale Club and Bob was instrumental at Willowdale with the installation of an artificial turf green.
Jeanne and Bob spend many hours at the club either bowling in leagues, organizing or playing tournaments and volunteering. Spending the winter in Arizona, Jeanne and Bob are actively involved in a club there too!, Jeanne is our resident coach and Bob one of our draw masters.
Always very helpful, willing to take on assignments and great volunteers.
The club is very fortunate to have members such as Bob and Jeanne.
THANK YOU
Housekeeping
We now have a system in place to ensure the cleanup tasks are being done throughout the week. Every week one team from each league has been assigned to perform the cleanup tasks. You all received this list by email from “the kitchen lady”. This list is also posted in the clubhouse. If you need direction on how to close the club please feel free to ask someone from the executive for instructions. It is everyone’s club and we all need to do our part as many hands make light work.
